I am a research scientist at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, CU Boulder, and my research focuses on planetary magnetospheres. My current research projects are leveraging MMS and THEMIS data to study the Earth's magnetotail. My previous research projects include the study of plasma waves in Venus's induced magnetosphere using data from PSP gravity assists, simulations of plasma wave propagation through near-Uranus space, and electron transport and loss in Earth's outer radiation belt. I am also a member of the science team of the NSF-funded cubesat CANVAS, which is scheduled to launch in 2025, and the leader of the NSF GEM Focus Group 'Radiation Belts as a System of Systems'.
I received my PhD from the University of Helsinki, Finland, (degree conferred Dec. 15, 2022) and my Bachelors and Honours degrees from the University of Otago, New Zealand.
